RBB’s Peter Clack had the opportunity to present at this week’s PAQS-ICEC Conference in Sydney. At the conference Peter launched the Construction Financing Reports Guidance Note on behalf of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Following the launch of the Guidance Note, Peter presented on the Importance of Quantity Surveyors and Reporting to Financial Institutions.
RBB is proud to be working closely with Financing Institutions and the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors to help educate and maintain the standard of reporting in our industry.
Karrinyup Shopping Centre DevelopmentTue, Nov 13, 2018
RBB is providing full cost management services on the $800m development of Karrinyup Shopping Centre. Congratulations to AMP Capital for achieving this monumental milestone.
The centre will almost double in size offering additional supermarkets, large-format international retailers, an alfresco dining precinct and a state-of-the-art 10 screen HOYTS cinema.
RBB is eager see Multiplex deliver this project and bring Taylor Robinson Chaney Broderick and Hames Sharley’s design to life.

Karratha Health CampusThu, Oct 25, 2018
On 24 October Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan officially opened the $207.15 million Karratha Health Campus project the largest health infrastructure investment in regional WA’s history. The project was procured under Managing Contractor [MC] Contract. The project was completed on time and within budget.
RBB provided full cost management services on the project.

RBB Melbourne - 12 Months OnWed, Aug 1, 2018
As they say, time flies when you're having fun… it’s over 12 months now, since RBB opened our doors in Melbourne on 1st August 2017.
From a zero start base RBB Melbourne has secured over 60 projects in this 12 month period and now has a staff base of 4. Projects secured range from single residential to high density multi-residential, mixed use developments, industrial, health, education, local authority and community projects.
Our client base is also varied being financial institutions, private architects, project management firms, health authorities, private developers, local authorities and contractors.
The Melbourne team look forward to continually working with our existing clients and with new clients over the next 12 months and beyond.

RBB are providing QS finance reporting services for Johnson Poultry Farms for this new Broiler Farm in regional Victoria. The farm will house over 350,000 chickens and is the first broiler farm of this size, able to produce free range chickens in Victoria.
Upgrades and Extensions to the Integrated Healthcare Centre, YarramMon, Feb 12, 2018
RBB have been providing cost planning services to this critical health care facility in regional Victoria. RBB are working closely with the Yarram and District Health Service and McBride Charles Ryan Architects to deliver a cost effective outcome for this upgrade and extension to the existing facilities.
Exmouth Boat Harbour Upgrade Officially OpenedTue, Jan 9, 2018
On the 9 January Transport Minister Rita Saffioti officially opened the second stage of the Exmouth Boat Harbour upgrade. The upgrade received more than $18 million in funding from the State Government and has transformed the harbour into a modern maritime hub. The works included an 88 metre extension to the wharf, with a 40 metre heavy lift zone, heavy vehicle parking area, new cyclone moorings, four new trawler pens and raising of the southern breakwater by two metres, construction of a new fuel farm, firefighting infrastructure, upgraded road access and a CCTV system. These upgrades mean the facility can better cater to marine and offshore industries.
RBB provided cost planning / estimating services to GHD and is pleased to be a part of this successful project.

RBB is proud of Clayton Boyd, Sadmir Ceric and Travis O’Neill on fundraising over $1,400 for men’s health with their participation in Movember. Their fundraising is helping the Movember Foundation to address some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. By 2030 the Movember Foundation aims to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%. RBB considers this a noble goal and encourages our staff to get behind the cause and our staff participating.

Wanneroo Civic Centre Fit-outWed, Nov 1, 2017
RBB are proud to continue their relationship with the City of Wanneroo on the Civic Centre Project. We are pleased to congratulate Broad Construction on being awarded the fit-out of the Wanneroo Civic Centre Extension and Refurbishment of the Wanneroo Civic Centre building.
The contract commenced in July 2017 with contract completion in May 2018.
The Camfield - Perth Stadium's Local PubFri, Oct 20, 2017
RBB are pleased to be associated with The Camfield, Perth’s latest bar and microbrewery. The licenced venue is set to be one of Western Australia largest pubs with a capacity of 2,500 patrons. Located only 80m from Perth Stadium the venue aims to accommodate local sport enthusiasts and the community alike. The Camfield will offer a function centre, main bar, container bar, beer garden and a microbrewery across the 8,000sqm site. It will host patrons 7 days a week with the promise of entertainment on its big screens of all genres, from sport to family movies. The project is due for completion late February 2018.

Dumas HouseMon, Sep 11, 2017
RBB is proud to be associated with the restoration of Dumas House, a heritage listed 14 storey office building that is approximately 50 years old. It consists of a concrete encased steel frame, with insitu concrete suspended floor slabs. The project is for the full restoration of the external façade and podium deck and includes the following:
• Removal of asbestos balcony tiles, balcony waterproofing, podium deck waterproofing and miscellaneous sealants
• Concrete repairs to reinforced concrete suspended balcony slabs and encasement to steel frame
• Removal of defective precast concrete spandrel panels and replacement with new precast units with quartz exposed aggregate
• Removal of reconstituted black terrazzo external column cladding with new granite cladding (sourced from Italy)
• Replacement of balcony tiles
• Repairs to and recoating to Tyrolene balcony soffit render
• Replacement blue glazed stack bonded brickwork to East and West elevations
• New entrance canopy
• Repairs to podium balustrading and other general repairs
The North façade is now complete with works continuing on the South, East and West facades.
Works are due for completion mid-2018.

RBB was pleased to show their support at the Compassion Charity Ball on Friday evening. Compassion is a Christian organisation that provides aid and support to children and families through child sponsorship, clean water initiatives, healthcare and a variety of other services.
We congratulate Compassion on raising over $65,000 towards the funding of practical malaria prevention initiatives in Uganda.
